03 · What I Build

What I actually build.

Most of my projects are not just interfaces. They carry business logic, data, APIs, integrations and real workflows — this is the shape they usually take.

lane_01Full-stack applications

Web appREST APIDatabase

Storefronts, platforms and dashboards with the backend behind them.

lane_02Business systems

Real workflows: orders, refunds, postings, audit trails.

lane_03Automation & AI

PythonBotsLLM · speech

Tools and bots that remove repetitive work, with AI where it helps.

Every lane above is backed by a shipped system on this page — that is the point.

04 · Technical Highlights

The stack, and what it produced.

Not a skill wall — these are the tools the systems on this page were actually built with.

05 · Services

How I can help.

Four ways I work with clients — focused on what each one actually delivers.

Web Applications

Modern full-stack web applications, dashboards, e-commerce platforms and custom business software — including Persian, right-to-left interfaces.

Examples

  • E-commerce platforms with admin back offices
  • Ticketing & booking flows
  • Dashboards over real data
  • Offline-first PWAs

Backend & APIs

Database-driven systems, REST APIs, authentication, business logic and service integrations — the part that makes software actually work.

Examples

  • Database design (SQL Server / PostgreSQL / SQLite)
  • REST APIs with validation & rate limiting
  • Payment and SMS integrations
  • Role-based access & audit logging

Automation

Python tools, bots, data processing and repetitive workflow automation — the kind of internal software that quietly saves hours every week.

Examples

  • Excel / PDF office tooling
  • Bale & Telegram bots
  • Data extraction & migration scripts
  • Packaged desktop utilities

AI Integration

LLM-powered features, AI assistants, chatbots, speech-to-text and integration with AI services — built into real products, not demos.

Examples

  • Tool-calling AI assistants
  • Voice input with speech-to-text
  • AI search over product data
  • Prompt & workflow automation

Not sure which of these you need? That's usually the first conversation — describe the problem and the right shape becomes clear quickly.

Describe your project

06 · Open Source & Tools

Tools I ship in the open.

Technical projects and utilities — released with tests, CI and versioned builds, because that's how tools should be shipped.

Open Source · Desktop Utilityraali09/netSpeedTray

Speed Meter

A lightweight desktop utility for measuring network speed — from the system tray.

A small, focused tool: it sits in the system tray and measures network speed. Built as a Python package with a tray front end, and shipped like a real open-source project — versioned releases, an automated test suite and a GitHub Actions release workflow.

  • System-tray app with live speed monitors
  • Automated tests (config, monitors, formatting, versions)
  • GitHub Actions release workflow
  • Versioned releases with changelog
  • Executable builds via PyInstaller
  • Issue & pull-request templates, contributing guide
  • Python
  • PyInstaller
  • GitHub Actions
  • pytest
Automation · Personal System

Z.ai Prompt Automation

A personal automation system for generating and processing prompts with Z.ai — controlled through a Bale bot.

Instead of running prompt workflows by hand, this system automates them: prompts are generated and processed with Z.ai, and the flow is controlled from a Bale bot — so the work starts from a chat. The kind of small personal infrastructure that quietly removes repetitive work from the day.

  • Prompt generation & processing with Z.ai
  • Bale bot as the control surface
  • Browser-extension drive layer (Chrome & Firefox)
  • Workflow automation
  • Python
  • Z.ai
  • Bale Bot

07 · More Projects

More systems in production.

Client work and products that run outside this page's spotlight.

M1

Language School LMS

Client Project

A learning management system for a language institute — six role areas, live classes, exams and language practice tools.

Students, teachers, admin, founder and an external inspector; secure proctored placement tests, an adaptive question engine, live classes with attendance, vocabulary spaced repetition, speech practice, report cards and financial reports.

  • Skyroom
  • PDF.js
  • PWA
M2

Hayatabi

Client ProjectLive

Website for an architecture, facade and material studio — project galleries, catalogs and a ⌘K design search.

Galleries by space type, material catalogs and service packages; a command-palette search, consultation requests with SMS notifications, and a content admin for the studio.

  • Next.js
  • Prisma
  • Tailwind CSS
M3

Loster

Technical Project

A luxury brand storefront — collections, reference projects, catalog PDFs and an AI-assisted custom-order flow.

A multi-step custom-order wizard that turns made-to-order requests into structured leads, AI natural-language product search, and AI visualization with a before/after comparison slider.

  • Next.js
  • Prisma
  • AI / LLM

08 · Lab

Small tools, scripts and experiments.

Utilities that remove repetitive work — not client projects, but real tools, packaged and used.

09 · About

I like building things that are useful.

I'm Ali Rahmani, a full-stack developer focused on building useful software.

I work across frontend, backend, databases and automation. Most of my projects are not just interfaces — they involve business logic, data, APIs, integrations and real workflows. I've built a ticketing platform, Persian e-commerce systems, administrative and data-driven systems, a productivity platform, bots and automation tools.

I also build my own products and experiments around automation and AI — tools I use myself every day.

How I work

Understand what the thing needs to do, build the smallest version that does it well, and keep it maintainable. I'd rather ship something honest and working than something impressive and fragile.

What I work on

Have a project in mind?

For project inquiries, a short message is enough to start — what the project is, who it's for, and roughly when you'd want it shipped. I read everything myself.
